THE EASTER BUNNY HOPS ABOARD THE EASTER BUNNY EXPRESS CLARKDALE, Ariz. The popular Easter Bunny Express bounds into town again this year, with a hippety, hoppety good time to be had at the Verde Canyon Railroad. Our friend, the Easter Bunny, and his basket of eggs and goodies will be rolling down the tracks to the Verde Canyon Railroad on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007. This fun-filled family adventure is sure to please everyone, from small children to grandparents. Delight and excitement will abound during this special occasion train, which is tailored to ensure that everyone has a great time, full of celebration and light-heartedness, eating candy and having photos taken with the Easter Bunny. One and all can take a chance at the jelly bean counting contest before boarding the train. April is a special time of year in the Verde Canyon. It is a time when new life springs forth, and the canyon welcomes back the indigenous wildflowers that dot the canyon with vivid burst of color. The migrating waterfowl have ventured north but those that wintered in Mexico return to the Verde Canyon for the summer season. Although called a Wilderness Train, passengers ride the rails in style and comfort. First-class passage includes amenities such as love seats, complimentary champagne upon boarding, and appetizers.
