I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE TRAIN STAFF THAT MADE MY SONS’ BIRTHDAY A WONDERFUL SUCCESS.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE TRAIN STAFF THAT MADE MY SONS’ BIRTHDAY A WONDERFUL SUCCESS.

MY FATHER AT 90 YEARS OF AGE WAS JUST LIKE A KID. MY MOTHER SAT AND LET THE RAILWAY TAKE HER WAY. WITH THE TRAIN TRAVELING AT A PERFECT PACE, TWELVE FAMILY MEMBERS HAD A WONDERFUL TIME TO CHAT AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL ARIZONA SCENERY. WOW. MY SON MAY NOT REMEMBER THIS TRIP, HOWEVER, THE PHOTOS WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR MINDS. THANKS AGAIN FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL TRIP. THE RAMOS FAMILY.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have a great experience

Last Saturday, a group of 69 folks from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Payson took part in the ride to Perkinsville (& back). We were mostly in the over-60 age group with a few younger kids. All had a truly great time, the comments during & after, & the following days, were all extremely complimentary of the trip itself, the scenery, the attendants & the food in both of our 1st. class coaches. We all had a wonderful time.

Personally I (as the trip organizer for our Church) need to let you know how much I appreciated the help of Ellen, your group coordinator. Her cheerfulness, friendliness, promptness at returning phone calls & dealing with my many questions made the booking process a very pleasing experience. Ellen made everything on my side so easy, she is a pleasure to work with.

Above and Beyond!

Just wanted to thank you and your employees for the best experience we’ve had on our family trip to Sedona and the surrounding area. We were a group of 12 family members, ranging in age from 13 to 88, celebrating our parents’ 67th wedding anniversary. We had reservations on the Sedona car, and from start to finish we were given genuine first class treatment.

Due to their age, our parents have difficulty walking for any distance. You all arranged to have the engineer give them a ride on the golf cart to pre-board and stay out of the heat. Once on the train, they were given special attention, and even a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider. We don’t remember the names of the attendants, but the woman had a long blonde braid, and the man was a Vietnam vet I believe. They were entertaining, sweet, and so attentive, making this a very pleasant trip to remember.

This may be the last vacation we will be able to make all together, so activities we can do as a group that are less physically demanding were what we were looking for. The Verde Canyon Railroad trip really fit the bill.

Many thanks to all of you who went above and beyond, from the employees at the ticket counter who let our dad sit in a comfy chair behind the counter as we waited, to our attendant, who drove our parents to our van at the end of the trip. We can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond to ensure that we all had a fabulous experience!

Sincerely,
