The Verde Canyon Railroad is an attraction normally chased by those of us who are 55+. We brought 17 college students to this adventure in January 2017. They readily embraced the history and the well-expressed natural and human narrative that is part of this experience. The support staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and the open cars on the train mean that this 20 mile in and out visit is appropriate for all ages. Strongly recommended.
