By March 17th the scenic Verde Canyon has begun the “wearing o’ the green” as its rich riparian Cottonwood and willow forests awaken from their short winter slumber. It is said that everyone is a little bit Irish on St Patrick’s Day, and all ought to wear a bit of green to celebrate the holiday.
