Verde Canyon Railroad Honors U.S. Military and First Responders with FREE Train Rides in August 2025
Clarkdale, Arizona. — [August 1, 2025] — In a heartfelt show of appreciation, Verde Canyon Railroad is proud to offer FREE train rides throughout the entire month of August 2025 to all U.S. military members (active and retired) and first responders, as a thank-you for their dedication and service. In addition, their accompanying guests will receive a 12% discount when the reservation is booked together.
This special offer is available August 1 through August 31, 2025, and is only valid for new reservations made and used within that timeframe. To receive this promotion, all bookings must be made by phone at 800-293-7245, and verification of service is required at the time of booking and again when picking up tickets.

- Reminder: the entire party must be booked in one single reservation to qualify.
- ID verification is required when booking and must be presented when picking up tickets.
- This promotion applies to morning train rides, midday train rides and Saturday Starlight
- Tours.
- This promotion applies only to ticket purchases and does not include food, beverages,
- gift shop items, or upgrades.
- The promotion is not retroactive. Guests who booked prior to August 1, 2025, are not
- eligible to change existing reservations for this offer. The promotion is for new
- reservations only.
- Verde Canyon Railroad reserves the right to modify or end this promotion at any time.
