Verde Canyon Railroad—a vintage train traveling on tracks laid over a century ago through an ancient canyon—is in the business of timelessness. We whisk you into an extraordinary place in pampered comfort as the four-hour trip offers you an exclusive environment for exchanging, renewing or celebrating vows.
The combination of festive food and beverage, train comfort and camaraderie while encompassed in the wilderness of the Canyon, makes for a truly memorable experience. In addition to custom-tailored catering for the event, we also assist you with local officiates, photographers, videographers, bakers and florists.
While most couples choose to exchange vows on an open-air car slowed on SOB Canyon Bridge, 150 feet above a panoramic vista, pairs have said “I Do” at other locations, including at the depot just before the train whistle sounds the beginning of their new journey together.
A magical wedding celebration continues with a private car reception, a party at 12 miles-per-hour.
On board weddings may range from intimate parties to groups filling several adjoining cars. Groups of 32 or more also have their own open-air viewing car accessible from their private indoor car, further enhancing the celebration.
For this, the stylishness of first-class passage is most appropriate. These cars feature plush chairs and love seats, complimentary toasting beverages upon boarding or after ceremony, hot and cold appetizers, a full-service bar and beverage service at one’s seat.
