Knowledgable, Friendly Staff and Great Views
My husband and I won a trip on your train. We love trains but thought we couldn’t afford it, so we were delighted. Adding to the pleasure of our trip was our barista. Doreen was knowledgeable, personable and has a winning personality. She added to our enjoyment of the trip immeasurably. Even though I don’t consume much alcohol due to medical reasons, there were several items she made I just loved, most of them non-alcoholic. However she did make a couple of “high octane” drinks that I’d have had a lot more of if I didn’t stop myself. She’s the greatest! I don’t know if your company gives awards but if you do, please give some token to Doreen. She helped make our trip the joy it was.
The attending woman who rode on the open-air car of our train, I think her name is Carol, was incredibly knowledgeable. My husband did most of the ‘outside stuff’ because I can’t handle a lot of heat and sunlight due to medications, and he was so thoroughly impressed with her knowledge. She sure helped him by pointing out some good photo opportunities. She deserves an award as well, for showing him – and me – the best photogenic scenery. We enjoyed our our ride and your staff is what made it best.
